the sun is shining....

I'm off to the beach! ....

....look, I have shells...... and, interesting pebbles.... even some stripey ones....
I pick them up if I notice them in my gravel around the yard. See, if you look at them in the camera lens, (in the plant pots).... you might think
they are on a beach somewhere... sort of........ mightn't you?

This pebble was painted by a Vancouver Island artist.... Haida tribal artwork.. I love little hummingbirds....

hey! get out of here...you guys weren't invited !! We're having a beach party here..

Oh my, I thought those rocks were chocolates! Even though chocolates at the beach might be a bad idea.

LOL! You had me going- thought you had made a trip to a beach. Those rocks are interesting. Never seen ones with stripes like that. Your painted rock is wonderful.

I saw your question left at Judi's blog about a doll with no chest seam. You can always apply air dry clay to a cloth doll if is it stuffed firmly. I've covered fabric doll faces and upper torso with air dry clay with good results.

All too soon, spring and summer will return. Don't be in too much of a hurry. Enjoy your day!

Won't be long now before it is beach time! I love collecting pebbles too!
Thanks for your comments on my cruise ship post, I was going to cruise later on in the Summer with Chris , but am now having second thoughts- I was already worried about the sea-sickness-

I thought things were going nuts at your end. One day it is snowing the next day you are going to beach lol! Love those stones and I still can't get this round my head that it is snowing at your end.

Hi Vee,

One day you have snow and then the next you are off to the beach?
You had me wondering.

Your stones are interesting and I especially like the rock with the Hummingbird painted on.

I hope your weekend is fun.
Hugs
Carolyn
